BASF Supports Malaysia in Fight Against COVID-19
As part of its commitment to support the community as well as front-line workers, BASF Group in Malaysia (BASF) has extended its support to hospitals in the country, by donating need-of-the-hour medical equipment for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
BASF collaborated with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and provided support to 12 hospitals, out of which four were dedicated COVID-19 hospitals, mainly treating patients that require intensive care support. In consultation with the hospitals, BASF donated equipment and supplies that were urgently needed, including ventilators for Intensive Care Units (ICU), neonatal ventilators, centralized patient monitoring systems, high-performing digital ultrasound system, video laryngoscope, humidifiers with integrated flow generators, syringe pumps, powered air-purifying respirators and flexible intubation video endoscopes.

In the spirit of kita jaga kita (we take care of each other), we believe that we must continue working together, to triumph over this pandemic” said Goh Eng Leong, Managing Director, BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Head of Malaysia-Singapore Business Area.
